Pros

Great benefits, flexible scheduling, nice (direct) bosses, great co-workers!

Cons

Higher management got an aggressive and corporate feel unlike Sunflower did. Hours being cut since Sprouts took over.

Pros

It was wonderful to help customers find healthy products and it was great to work with like minded team members "Sprouties". The store is kept clean and fresh and the overall environment is good . Sandwiches for lunch break are the best.

Cons

For new stores, initially they hire too many and then force employees to quit. It appears that lower management is told to find ways to make employees miserable so they will quit when they no longer need as many employees, They mess with scheduling right from the start. Everyone was scheduled for 30+ hrs weekly even those who were hired to work only 10-15 hrs weekly. Then it changes to only 6-15 hrs weekly even for those told at hire they would be scheduled for over 30 hrs each week. If that does not qet you to quit they start changing the schedule on short notice without telling anyone. Then they write you up for not showing at the right time. It became a games of calling just before shirt and hope you did not miss and they would not allow copies of the schedule! When that is not enough they started with the daily product inventory and facing assignments. They set you up to fail by assigning more than is possible to finish in the shift time and again write you up. There is more but this is enought to tell. Too bad they (management) can not just be honest and let the employees know the job will be limited and after about 6 months they will expect to let several people go...Then people can plan and appreciate the time the spend working there.
