Pros
if your going to school for nursing this is the place to be. you will be treated with respect above all other employees and chances for advancement. its a nurse helping nurse company so positions that were made for other degrees have been modified to nursing. all employees get a credit on thier badges that helps with purchases at the cafeteria, uniform sales and book sales where great. Prices of these items are very high and on a CNA salary it wasnt worth it. credit is then deducted off your payroll check.
Cons
CNA's and other non nursing employees pay is very very low and there is no respect or recognition for those position. you are worked to the bone and the hospital finds other reasons to make it more difficult and to add more time on your clock. i have just retired from CNA work and all my five years of being a CNA working at this hospital was the worsed experience that actually pushed me into retiring completely from taking care of others.
