      Pros

      Wonderful coworkers that care about me inside and outside of the hospital. The patients are generally kind and satisfiable. Plenty of shift options.

      Cons

      Understaffed and overcrowded can often lead to unnecessary stressful situations. Miscommunication amongst departments happens from time to time. Packed out hospital floors and/or units leads to holds in the ER overnight on a fairly routine basis.

      Great except for parking

      Cons

      1. I have to park at another St. Dominic campus several miles away and take a shuttle bus to and from the main hospital in the morning and afternoon. If anything comes up during the day I have to arrange a ride out to my car. 2. Really cramped working environment.

      Nurse to Patient Ratios Employees are rude and unhelpful Management is more worried about the bottom line

Fiscal responsibility is certainly a concern and a focus (this is a requirement for a responsible organization that wishes to provide a stable work environment and well maintained facilities) but it is not the only focus.
