Pros

Not for profit, religious based

Cons

Dishonest leadership, everyone is not treated equally. Lots of favoritism, no training, leaders talk about people behind their backs, racism is tolerated

Pros

Coworkers have your back, great place for newer nurses to learn and move up, but as an experienced nurse not much room for growth. Doctors work pretty well with nurses, but can be cliquey.

Cons

Managers blame staff for all short comings on their behalf, they rarely care about employees, only numbers. They legit were more worried about a gps monitoring hand washing percentage that rarely worked right over nurses working sick and burned out. Worked with fevers, Covid, you name it, you call out and you aren’t besties with the manager, then you get wrote up. However many nurses in the ER were constantly late, had multiple call outs and never had a word said. 1 nurse left in the middle of the shift for over 2 hours (patient abandonment) and didn’t even get a slap on the wrist. Patient to nurse ratio was unreal during peak Covid and flu seasons…. If you were in triage you could be sitting alone with over 60 plus in the lobby for hours on end getting yelled at with no help from charge nurses or doctors. Pay is awful, mere pennies for what they expect of you. And Dear CEO Hinchey…. So glad you got to go to Hawaii while the rest of us were stuck inside during hurricane season!! Those extra funds were well spent!! What a crook!
