Pros
I have worked for St. Tammany Parish Hospital for 20 years, collectively. I left for about 9 months and came back as soon as I could. Working for St. Tammany Parish Hospital is like having an extended family. We care about each other, our patients and their families, all of our visitors. We have an amazing Environmental Services department that takes GREAT pride in keeping our hospital clean. Taking pride in where you work and what you do is must! I recommend this hospital as an amazing place to work and the only choice for healthcare on the Northshore! We have GREAT benefits and keeping employees healthy is very important our Administration. We are looking for ways to continue 'being the best', as an employee we have a say in that, and our opinions are valued.
Cons
I would say parking, but our leaders have already taken steps to fix that. Umm, this is a tough question. I could say we stay pretty busy, but that seems like more of a blessing than a con. I give up!
