Colleagues were supportive and help me learned

Cons

Leadership was horrible. Branch Manager didnt sell, so we end up working black hole accounts. He was also demeaning, yelling at us.

Bottom-line driven organization

Pros

Awesome team, loved my manager, permissive paid time off and overall good benefits, nice office/facility. Used to have lots of freedom to strategize, plan, and implement business moves for the branch until company was "acquired" by Staffmark.

Cons

Compensation is below market for comparable roles in the geographic area. Went 3 years without a raise, and then after multiple team members quit, was given a token 3% increase. Too-little, too-late. With acquisition of Pro Staff by Staffmark, a lot of freedom and flexibility in doing business was lost. Company is so bottom-line driven that resources needed to fulfill expectations are withheld. Toxic corporate culture overtook empowering company culture that existed when the org was run by Atterro. Communication from leadership to ground-level staff is limited in transparency, and can come across as simplistic in a "we can do it" attitude vs. realistic commitments from management to prioritize team members and enable them to succeed.

Loved the onsite managers and other higher-ups you had to communicate with on a daily basis Pay rate was reasonable Worked from home

Job was eliminated and I wasn’t given a heads up
