Pros

Health insurance and 401k retirement plan.

Cons

They hire people whos not qualified. Management has a “throw it on the wall and hope it sticks” mentality. Non-professionals not taking advice from worker's who has the knowledge. They “encourage” challenges, which backfires on you. Supervisor roles have a very high turnover. Due to not selecting the right candidate for the position. Hive mentality with no guidance of how the real world of IT works. Thank god ive made the decision to join a real IT company. If you need a babysitter’s club, look no further.

Pros

Good benefits, unlimited PTO (!!), depending on your manager you may have the latitude to work on projects as you see fit; however this really depends on the manager. Free sodas.

Cons

Weaponization of "culture"; you BETTER drink the kool-aid. CEO out of touch with happenings in the org. He is just being groomed by CK to take over his efforts, and would rather talk about his "book" than the day to day activities. Donor contributions are being wasted. However, if you don't pay attention, keep your head down, and do your work you'll be ok... but I don't know of any organization that could thrive under such circumstances; this could explain the multiple rebrandings over the years.

Pros

It has a pretty office in a nice location

Cons

Heavy on jargon, principles, and philosophies, which they stuff down your throat. Ironically they do not practice what they preach. They encourage transparency but I was fired shortly after voicing concerns about my supervisor to their boss. I wanted to take my team out to dinner to celebrate a win and was made to first explain how this dinner aligns with Stand Together’s values and principles. Very top down management. They don’t believe in DEI.
