Pros
Beautifully appointed, well maintained physical office facilities. Lots of company social events and reasonable quality lunch/ learn seminars.
Cons
Top-down hire and fire culture. Layoffs are common. "Polite and openly friendly with a dagger in your back culture". Managers are well paid, and are always in meetings, rarely in the trenches with project staff. Will blame team members for any problems on their work teams. Middle management, ie Project Managers are more powerful than anyone else, but often refuse to take ownership of project losses, ie of their poor management skills.
