Pros

Excellent corporate culture and values with an open and honest dialogue with employees. It is a fast-paced, exciting & busy environment with a lot of energy. Ongoing focus and support of career development and personal growth as well as good social opportunities. Good benefits & positive environment.

Cons

If you're accustomed to forcing your way towards change without listening to others or seeing the big picture you might not fit in very well; Some people just are not suited to deal with the daily pressures and high expectations. Not much room for folks who continually complain or look at the glass as partly empty instead of mostly full.

Pros

Generally everyone is working towards the same goal despite the working on different joint venture platforms. The HR and development & learning team are very devoted to their employees.

Cons

In some frameworks it is disappointing how the lack of clarity in terms of when the projects will "land" has a negative knock-on effect to the business and makes realistic forecasting very difficult.

As Stantec is a large company you have the opportunity to work on some of the largest projects in the industry.

Cons

The firm has a poor workplace culture and does not compensate employees outisde of typical salary and benefits. No outside work activities or perks.
