Pros

Stantec has provided a great work/life balance that allows for a flexible schedule, while mindful of client deadlines. The culture of our office is what you make it - there are a lot of engaged people who bring the fun. There is a lot of transparency and focus on safety at the company.

Cons

Middle management doesn't have a lot of authority for promotions - a lot of it comes from "up above." It can be unclear what your career path is, and if you are happy doing what you are currently doing, you can have a great career. But upward mobility is not as easy in certain positions.
