      Pros

      Good pay and benefits. Some managers are good, some not so good. Flexibility is available when projects allow.

      Cons

      Sometimes can really struggle to find work and the threat of layoff is always at the back of your mind. Getting on a long term project is key. Some managers can micromanage, be toxic and put you in a bind. Not much opportunity to move up the corporate ladder.
