- Work/life balance was an issue when I started and hadn't improved when I left. Principal and senior engineers in the office regularly worked 50-60+ hr weeks, and it was clear that was what was required to move up the career ladder (particularly once you got to mid-level and above). Numerous staff left the company while I was there for exactly this reason, management just does not get it.
- Senior/principal level engineers consistently not acting on complaints from mid/lower level staff. Meetings after meetings soliciting input on work or office issues from mid/lower staff then right back to business as usual.
- C-suite is basically all old white guys
- Salary was generally okay to meh. Decent raises/bonuses when hitting different career levels or milestones (e.g., licensure) but between those steps it did not seem like the financial performance of the company correlated to compensation.
