Pros

Salary is competitive, although compensation alone does not outweigh the wider workplace challenges.

Cons

I found employee engagement and morale to be consistently low, with frequent organisational change and a lack of clear strategic direction. HR processes felt highly system-driven and impersonal, often leaving me feeling like a number rather than a valued employee. There was a strong focus on utilisation, reporting, and project margins, often at the expense of employee wellbeing, development, and retention. Despite being a large consultancy, I saw many teams struggle to have a sustainable workload. Significant time and effort appeared to be invested in framework and bid opportunities that rarely translated into secured work, creating frustration and uncertainty. Staff turnover was high, leadership lacked a clear and inspiring vision for the future, and in some areas there seemed to be a reluctance to embrace change, innovation, and growth. Overall, I found it a challenging and disappointing place to build a long-term career.
