If you have no family, friends, hobbies, or aspirations, you will LOVE this job! I worked a little over a year at this company and my mental health suffered significantly. As a field technician, they can send you hours away from your home with as little as 24 hour notice. They say they won't, but my managers did. I spent so much time away from my family, it broke my heart. I was forced to call hotels my "home" for about 2 weeks at a time per month. I couldn't make personal appointments because I'd have no idea if I would be home at any given time. I had told my manager the travel was too much and he ultimately said "That sucks... Get used to it" The office culture is the most toxic that I have ever experienced. Your peers will look for any opportunity to put you down in order to make themselves look better. No one looks out for one another. It could be different in other offices, but in the one I worked at, everyone was just down-right cruel. In my first week, one of the engineers had gotten in my face and screamed at me for making a mistake. When I told HR about it, they said they'd handle it and never did. I don't even think they talked to him!
