Dysfunctional and self centered senior leadership

Stantec offers competitive pay with plenty of resources for its employees to take advantage of. Great social events for staff.
Cons
Management seems to be more concerned about themselves and their status within the company. Management has no empathy for their staff and that was clearly made evident during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some staff members have even been told "they should be working for free" and directed not to charge for hours worked. If you are a person of color, be prepared to feel uncomfortable and be called by the name of someone else "who looks like you". Favoritism plays a large role in moving up in this company. Be prepared to do the same types of tasks and work on the same types of projects as you will be quickly pigeonholed. Be prepared to be led by individuals who think way to highly of themselves and expect you to fall in line.
