Pros

Enjoyed my work, had regular clients who appreciated me, my store manager always had my back and trusted me.

Cons

Grossly underpaid for the amount of money the department was marking, in the entirety of my tenure there we were never fully staffed because it's hard work that takes skill and its rare to find someone capable that will do said work for $9/hr when the cost of living is as high as it is here. Managing an entire department and having to hire and train and entirely new team for $12/hr was insulting.

Told you have authority over your department, yet you are never allowed to make changes. Little to no support from assistant managers. A lot of internal gossiping and slander

Pros

I'm trying hard to think of some pros here....I'd guess I'd have to say some of my loyal customers. The benefits for full timers are okay, not so great for part-timers.

Cons

No recognition for great work. If it is given, it is begrudgingly and with a "You did great....but....you could do more." It is never just "Congratulations, you did great!" They keep taking away good equipment and replacing it with bad equipment and yet expect the same quality work. Same with materials. All to save money yet charge the customer more. They don't hire enough staff or can't hire enough staff because no one wants to work here.
