Pros

This position helped hone my selling and managerial skills, taught me to better diffuse difficult customer situations, I learned alot about paper and simplified digital printing. It is also a great position to network in, as I am always working with small/medium sized businesses directly to provide them with printing and marketing materials.

Cons

Extremely stressful and undercompensated, understaffed and undersupported by upper management.Lofty sales goals in an extremely unpredictable sales climate with sporadic guidance on how to meet said goals. Pushy sales culture.

Pros

Staples offers great benefits to full-time employees, a fast-paced work atmosphere (for the most part), store diversity in tasks and departments.

Cons

HR, Management, and higher-up (above store-level) people can be iffy, when things go wrong this can really ruin a decent work atmosphere.
