Pros

Stable company, lots of opportunities for cross-training. You will generally be left to complete your tasks, not a whole lot of micro-management. Decent bonuses if you are an Easy Tech.

Cons

Large amount of responsibility with little recognition for a job well done but plenty of blame if something goes wrong. Lousy employee discounts, you only get money back to spend at staples. They recently got rid of bonuses for office supplies and front end associates. Not a lot of advancement unless you want to be in store management. If you are competent in multiple areas you will bounce all over the store and still be expected to get your own work done without consideration for time. Stores run with a very limited amount of budgeted hours so there is not a lot of coverage for days off or sick days.
