Pros

Starbucks is very much a people oriented place and extremely collaborative.

Cons

Technical projects and goals are challenged because decision are all decided collaboratively and not goal/objective driven

Pros

Starbucks was a great place to work because it let you not only connect with co-workers but build a lasting relationship with customers as well.

Cons

Working at Starbucks hardly had any cons at all. The job tasks that were assigned were relatively simple and there isn't much room to advance a career here.

Pros

*Free Coffee, while on the job *A discount *Weekly freebies (a pound of coffee or box of tea, which can make great gifts) *Benefits, even with part-time employment *Working with cool, cultured people

Cons

*Getting up at 4:00 in the morning sometimes *Not being able to hear people that order drinks in the drive-through (especially over the steamers) *Being disrespected by customers (boy are people grouchy before they've had their coffee!) *A fast-paced environment can be quite stressful, at times *It sucks to make frappuccinos
