      Pros

      Great work environment, fun staff to talk to, easy when days are slow, able to grow as an individual working there.

      Cons

      Dealing with rude customers who think that they are better than you because they drink Starbucks Coffee, horrible senior management, gets incredibly stressful when the store gets busy, drive thru stores make it hard for a barista to connect with their customer.

      Pros

      All the people there are great, making the drinks can be fun, good salary. They also offer some good health benefits. Also, it's always busy at starbucks so there is never a dull moment.

      Cons

      They don't let you take time off when you need it. My friend ended up quitting because he needed time off to study for his finals and they wouldn't let him take any time off.

      -benefits i suppose, though i've never utilized them -flexible schedule -pay is decent -fast paced

      Cons

      -fast paced -opening shifts are way too early for anyone to really function -management is never satisfied. if you dont hear from management then you're doing ok. the only time management has anything to say to their supervisors, or baristas, it is to tell them how they screwed up. -the dress code is the worst. -you stink like coffee b.o. after every shift -if you primarily close, expect to work harder than everyone else but still be bitched at the most.
