Pros

Starbucks gives full benefits for part-time work, which is awesome. You generally have some flexibility in your hours up until the schedule is set the week beforehand, making this a perfect job for students and artists who need health insurance but need to not be in the office 9-5 every day.

Cons

You end up working weird shifts -- sometimes until 1 am to close, sometimes arriving at 4:30 am to open. And someone has to work the holidays, so be prepared to negotiate with your co-workers for your favorites.

Pros

The benefits are great for part time..and discounts for drinks plus a pound of coffee a week.

Cons

they don't promote from within... they hire managers from outside and don't train them how to manage a store.
