Great Benefits low pay

Pros

The benefits start being offered immediately, even at part time (20 hours). ASU reimbursement coworkers some friendly regulars stock paid time off

Cons

Low pay isn't always enough to pay the bills some customers can really suck bad scheduling can make for really rough shifts corporate decides when to cut labor, even if we desperately need more people causing understaffing that makes the experience worse for all involved.

Pros

Steady work, flexible hours, good benefits, mostly friendly coworkers, and a willingness to work with school schedules.

Cons

Stress from dealing with customers; occasionally long and/or early hours which can contribute to health problems. Frequent changes in procedures and products, often seemingly designed by people who aren't working at the store level.

It's a cult

Pros

The company provides almost endless free coffee, great benefits benefits for part time and full time employees, and a flexible schedule.

Cons

Corporate doesn't supply enough labor hours to accommodate all parts of the day. They essentially want the entire staff to become obsessed with Starbucks culture and do everything "for the greater good" without paying them enough to care.
