Strange Company to Work For

Pros

Free sodas and interesting work topics. Very informative to learn about various types of billing styles across different industries.

Cons

Low pay. After working in other places for several years, I believe the work environment and management style here was very odd. Long term coworkers were either in a childish mood or unbelievably serious. The owners repeatedly made up future potential for current employees in the hopes that they would stick around longer, but the opportunities were unrealistic.

Pros

I have been with Starnik 6 years and still love coming to work each day! I am fulfilled in what I do and the work we accomplish as a team. I have been encouraged to grow my skillset and have advanced my position with responsibilities and recognition. Growth within the company is merit based and dependent upon each individual and their own output as well as team achievements. The company culture is positive and caring, everyone goes out of his or her way to support and encourage personal growth. The company cares about you, your career, and where you want to go. Motivation is a priority and feedback is appreciated, you always have a voice. We are all encouraged to celebrate even the smallest milestones. Benefits are good. We have PTO that increases with tenure, sick time, retirement, and healthcare. The company also lends itself to a great work life balance.

Free snacks and drinks are a plus

Cons

Literally everything else. Management is a complete joke and will fire you for not making sales when they refused to give you pertinent information required for making sales. Nothing is ever their fault, and is always someone else’s.
