Pros

-Meet new people and build a relationship

Cons

The pay is near minimum wage with very small commission percentage. The agent pins each employee against each other and creates a toxic work environment. The employees are mostly the ones running the agency while the agent goes off on various vacations and is rarely in the office.

Pros

The job is interesting. You learn new things everyday. You are granted 40 hours of life leave a year in addition to your PTO.

Cons

Management in this department is horrible. They don’t recognize you as a human, only a robot. Unable to provide effective communication. Their approach isn’t polite and it’s all about numbers. The micromanaging is unbearable at times and the turnover rate has been excessively increasing. The recruiter does not tell you all the ins and outs about this role. Be prepared to work past your shift. If you are working on a claim and get off at 5, you have to stay until claim is finished. Claims in this department can be a hour long and sometimes 2hours depending on the situation. There is no work life balance and they do not care about your personal situations at home. You also can not use your PTO and if you need to schedule off, you have to do so 6 months in advance.
