Farm is going down

Pros

People are nice, hubs are pretty but not the best design. One exit parking deck sucks. ..But still pretty! 401k and pension is good to.

Cons

I used to love working for the company. Now they make it so difficult with micromanaging, metrics and no work life balance. Now you have to accrue time and use PTO even if you're ill. It's 2017 and frankly most of these jobs can be worked from home. Instead they'd rather have us punch some stupid time clock (micromanaging) so they can "watch" us. Then they build these million dollar glorified hubs, sell them and then rent back from the new owner! That's plain stupid. I also relocated across county for a promotion and they did not help pay for relocation! If your going from one hub to another you don't qualify BUT it's up to management discretion! So obviously I'm not a bad employee since I got promoted, I just think they are losing a lot of money and it's sad that good employees have to deal with their lack of management and poor decisions that are made for the entire enterprise. The company has gone down a lot especially since the last CEO left a few years ago! The new one sucks!!!

Pros

Great benefits keep everyone longer than expected. Great development available depending on the department.

Cons

Been with the company 35 years. Seen it all. The company stopped caring about employees when new ceo took over. The company is not loyal anymore and wants only mindless production and procedures. If you can find a good manager, stay with them. They are few nowadays. Use code of conduct to complain. Don't expect results, but it makes hrs and management investigate. Don't hold back and don't lie. Truth is everything.

Pros

Great health benefits, wide range of discretion on claims, great people, great resources

Cons

Zero work/life balance (nearly all claims employees work 11:30am-8pm) every minute of every day is planned and tracked, upper management does not care about you, and let's you know via their actions that you're just a number, front line management is totally out of the loop and has no control over your day.
