      Decent pay Decent benefits Good people (though not necessarily in management)

      Cons

      Culture has become oppressive Most perks have been taken away Benefits have been reduced No work/life balance Cannot take the time off you are entitled to People keep leaving but they do not hire anyone new New processes introduced that make the job harder and do NOT help the customer Morale is in the tank - the workload is not sustainable

      Pros

      Lower level management is understanding; benefit package is good (although changing); Pay is great - especially once you are there for a while, (caution this could also be changing).

      Cons

      Training is not hands on- they teach you resources then expect you to answer the phone and work under pressure. Micro-managed at 15 min intervals. Focus is now on money instead of quality customer service.

      Pay is mediocre for industry average, benefits are okay due to pension. Unlikely to have a pension in the future if company trends continue downward for profitability margins.

      Cons

      No work flexibility, lack of knowledge in each department due to reorganization, upper management instilling productivity theories that are unrealistic for future business success, lack of emphasis on customer service and the needs of the customer, limited upward mobility for qualified candidates, centralizing of offices, focus on grooming new, youthful employees over experienced professionals.
