      Pros

      Great benefits. Friendly environment. Training is adequate for what is expected of you. Salary is reasonable and as much OT as you want to work.

      Cons

      Workload is extremely high and does require significant amounts OT to try and stay current. My department had high turn over rates so constantly had to help in training new employees and having to work the files of people who quit. Prepare for every minute of every day to be monitored.

      Great People Good benefits Profit Sharing Bonus Good compensation for low end jobs

      Cons

      Restructuring of facilities to move employees to either a Hub or Corporate location is forcing a lot of experienced and talented employees that are not mobile to be forced out of the company. The company is going against industry norms and allowing work from home. Low compensation for technical jobs unless you are with the company 20 years.

      Pros

      Good benefits, pension and many different opportunities available due to the size of State Farm.

      Cons

      The company has always been a solid, family and employee oriented company, until Michael Tipsord took over as CEO. Now an employee is just another cog in the wheel, disposable at a whim.
