      Pros

      If you want to learn about how auto insurance really works, this is the place to be.

      Cons

      The agents will tell you in the first interview how sucessfull you will be working for them and how much money you will make with them, but after a few months you will find the reality about being a regular and not good paid insurance sales person, I just can't live with that kind f frustration. Besides that, I consider the State Farm agents people with a poor ethics and principles.

      Pros

      The company provides a very good benefits package and opportunity to develop and move into other areas. State Farm provides great stability and leadership treats employees fairly.

      Cons

      Like any large company, there is some politicing surrounding promotional opportunities. Some lack of development is held against associates who have not completed insurance designations.
