Financially sound company Cares about employees Traditional (pro & con) - Excels at customer service
Cons
Traditional (old fashioned)-slow to update technology and, in general, keep up with the times and remain fresh in the marketplace. Younger generation sees State Farm as a compny that "their parents" do business with and not a company for them. Many employees have been with the company over 15+ years. While this may also be a pro, it also lends to the fact that State Farm is not a very progressive company. New talent is needed to remain progressive. Employee benefits should be better for company size and revenue.
