      Pros

      real work, real pay, and real experience. State Farm research and development center has very relax and comfortable working environment. Managers and other analysts would like to help interns very much. It's a good place for graining internship experience, and polishing up skills in a real world.

      Cons

      Research and development center is around 40 mins to the headquarter, where most professionals are working. Therefore, contacting a professional at corporate could not be settled in a direct way of face to face meeting. If more professionals are around, interns would have more opportunity to grow faster.

      Stability, brand recognition, loyal customers that for some reason don't shop around even though they should

      Cons

      Over-priced product, lots of customer complaints, limited product range, restrictive single source supply, company structure hampers lead generation under do-not-call rules

      Pros

      The whole team including the agent provide a positive place to work. Not a lot of pressure to only reach numbers.

      Cons

      I was promised continuing education that would help me improve in the agency and this was true at first, then everyone just seemed to forget. However, I am still supposed to be as qualified as team members with years of experience and training.
