Pros

Gym inside my building was nice. Also pretty good lunch food.

Cons

Im writing this review for people out of college like I was looking for a job. State Street will hire anyone. The pay is horrible when compared to others in the industry, the management does not care about their employees mostly because they dont have enough time to be, the upper management is clueless and instead of innovating and treating their employees right to create profits they are laying people off and sending jobs to India to save money for their shareholders. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION DO NOT JOIN STATE STREET.

Pros

Opportunity to work from home (depending on which team you're on), decent benefits (health, vacation, 401k match, sick pay). Good to put on your resume as it is a well known corporation.

Cons

Below average pay, lack of technology, difficult to move up, poor management, high turnover rate, lots of favoritism, no job security (layoffs), raises were a joke, forced to work 50+ hours a week (depending on which team you're on).

Pros

It's a good name on the resume to find something else. Great raffels. Will get a lot of experience quickly. The benifits were good before this year. For 2016 they have cut rate insurance with Cigna, whom, have an active class action suit for misrepresentation.

Cons

Could write a volmue here on pointless meetings that do not effect real progress, high team-member turnover, low morale, expected overtime every night, No work/life balance, and constant budget cuts that means do more with less people; However, I'll simply write this, the Boston globe recently published in the next 4 years SS forecasts 7,000 additional jobs cut. This will be the environment you walk into...
