Pros

The job I left will always be there. Hours are not bad at all. Sometimes it was good to experience a bit of downtime, but not with the co-workers you get stuck with..

Cons

They pay poorly. No OT. You can work at the same job without having been through 4 yrs. of college.

Pros

State Street is a great financial company that everyone has heard of. You learn a lot and there is a whole lot of potential for growth within the company. The benefits are good and they also match up to 6 percent toward your retirement which in this economy is amazing.

Cons

Very stressful job. They pile a whole lot of work on to you and don't pay you enough for it!

Pros

Good benefits, opportunities grow, mentoring program available, Convenient locations, company is working towards flexible work arrangements, recognition for good performance.

Cons

The most common complaint I have heard from staff is the poor compensation. Competitors pay higher salaries, which makes retaining talented staff difficult. Also the recent business transformation process has been managed a bit sloppy.
