Pros

Branching out from old business model to expand into new markets such as Alternative Investments Trying hard to catch up with younger, leaner and more agile competition Good values and corporate social responsibility Very good employer with great benefits

Cons

As always in larger corporations - politics. Know the right people and getting things done will be much easier There definitely is a very strong circle of influence in Boston which makes it more difficult to be efficient for people in other locations Markets moves fast and STT is like a large vessel so pace of change is not matching needs despite efforts
