Pros

Knowledge gained in the industry. Co-Workers are respectful and willing to help with any issue or problem.

Cons

Poor compensation and recognition. Work/Life balance is promoted by the Corporate HR but not implemented by management. It is expected to work 10 hour days or you are considered not a high performer.

Pros

laid back enviroment. you can't get fired for being incompetent. Don't need to work extra hard. See my comments in the Cons section

Cons

I worked hard and my annual reviews always reflected this. I had continued to receive very high grade on my performance reviews and was well regarded by my peers and directors. The accolades were fine and dandy but let's face it, the pats on the back and positive words don't pay my bills!!!! The freaking place is god darn cheap with the money that it's not even funny... If you're an above average worker you will get the same compensation as the person next to you who may not have put in the same hours or the energy into work. I have seen this happen two years in the row and I didn't want to wait around for another year
