Pros

Great starter job that does reward top performers (contrary to a lot of the other posts). Big name company that looks great on your resume. Will gain lots of industry knowledge.

Cons

90% percent of the promotions go to the top 10% of the employees. If you can't handle working long hours, dont work here. I typically average 53-60 hours a week, and have been ever since working at a staff level.

Pros

Flexible work/life schedule encouraged. Generally competent co-workers. Opportunity for advancement-- ability to move around the bank

Cons

Compensation is slightly lower than other banks of this size. Bonus structure has been heavily weighted towards equity vesting over 4 years. Easy to fall into a braindead routine.
