      Pros

      Position Pays for Overtime, people I work with are fun and easy going

      Cons

      Work is very redundant, minimal reimbursement for furthering your education (MBA/MSF), turnover rate is high even in a recession. You never get a real sense that you have the ability to move up in the organization.

      Pros

      Excellent benefits. Most employees have 3-4 weeks vacation a year, company offers many different choices for health care. Technology usage is impressive. As a technologist can learn a lot about many different technologies.

      Cons

      Many senior managers are clueless as far as how best to leverage their best talent. Many have the attitude that we have always done it this way hence we should continue to do it this way. If you are not located in Boston it is very difficult to be promoted. Get the feeling that staff in NY are second class citizens. Too much middle management. Long hours with little compensation (whether it be financially or comp days).

      Pros

      Laid back environment, mostly young working professionals, quite routine once you get used to the software, lots of free time depending on the group/assigned funds

      Cons

      Promotions depend entirely on the group. The associate 2 in your group has to be promoted or moved to another group before you can be promoted. You may have to ask for a raise/promotion to get the ball rolling.
