Pros

None, truly. There are no positives about being employed by State Street.

Cons

Very low pay. Long, long, long hours. Outdated tech. Work/life balance is non-existent. Little to no training for anything required within your role. Management has no idea what is going on. No opportunity for advancement unless you know someone in senior management. No on takes responsibility for their actions. Everyone that works there is miserable and hates their job and that is reflected in the team/department demeanor. It is truly a soul-sucking experience. No hyperbole.

Pros

Flexible with work from home although every company now is during the pandemic

Cons

True definition of evil corporate America, too many higher ups with zero understanding or compassion of the day to day work or employees below them, very low raises or bonuses every year, zero training, and expect to do much more than your title or pay including hand holding teams in India that the company expects you to train to eventually take your job.
