Pros

There is snack Wednesday. There is always work to be done.. It's a job with a steady paycheck. Some managers can be flexible, but they are rare.

Cons

Very low wages. There is way to much work put on one person. Expect to wear at least 3 hats and do jobs outside of your job description. They will expect you to cram in 24 hours worth of work into 8 hours. Management is completely detached from staff. Everyone is always in meetings or behind closed doors. You can not say anything to HR or it will get right back to your manager. Moral is extremely low, as are the wages. They under pay and benefits are very costly. There is no 401K offered. No mentorship whatsoever. You can only move laterally in this company. Unless you are schmoozing someone at the top all the time, do not expect to be rewarded for hard work and your skills. They loose good employees due to these conditions and retain the bad. They have done this for a few years now and it never changes. They will come out with new implementations to make things better, but they never follow through and it is forgotten about in a matter of weeks.

Pros

Small company, great co-workers, a few fun activities that you know doesn't come from management, the gym

Cons

Won't staff appropriately and could care less about employees. Pay is minimal unless you are friends with executives. Too much work with not enough perks for the threats to jobs.

Pros

Good learning opportunity and flexibility(depending on the supervisor). Good lines of communication(again depending on the supervisor). Consistent levels of work(again based on your department and supervisor)

Cons

Management-they will treat you like a peon until you get fed up and leave. Management also does not work well together which makes it harder for the person doing the work to complete the task. On top of the impulsiveness of the higher ups. The CEO and COO are very detached from daily functions, but will randomly try to implement things without really getting all the facts. The instant "problem-solution" thinking is really counterproductive and will make it hard to have solid ways to work. IT-minus the people that actually fix the computers IT has to be one of the worst IT departments I've ever encountered! They're lazy and entitled. Getting them to do anything will be a task. And typically you will miss deadlines as a result of their laziness. No room for "real" growth- they will change your title..give you more work..but the pay won't match the change. Nobody wants to work for a company that they can't advance financially in. Additionally advancement is really just a title change on paper but you almost always find yourself still doing work from your previous department. Be prepared to work really hard for pay that's not that good..I was doing easily $50,000/yr worth of work and development for my department, but made around $40,000 BEFORE taxes and expensive insurance... Favoritism-this company is all about who you are close with not your work ethic. If you don't walk around all day schmoozing and talking with everyone it makes it much more difficult to get work done as they see you as not apart of the group. You'll only go as far as your connections go. If you like to actually get things done and go home you will NOT be happy here.
