Pros
Generally a good place to work. Top management / ownership is visible and projects a caring attitude towards employees.
Cons
Advancement opportunities are limited. Raises (beyond cost of living 1 to 2% annual) are nearly non-existent regardless of job performance. Satellite divisions tend to operate understaffed resulting in morale issues and infighting. Satellite managers appear to have little ability to control these situations. In general corporate upper managers may hold too much overriding control and influence that might better be left to the satellite manager.
