Poor leadership from up above with no actually care for people. HR were clearly there to protect top leadership and not any one on the store level. Hostile communication with lack of solutions to on going IT problems, product delivery times, and budget constraints. I consistently had to put out fires whenever members of the leadership Corp team would come into the store because of inappropriate comments and aggressive communication. The company strives on sustainability however if seems as though it’s not a focus in the US from top down. Including not using sustainable practices in stores and a lack of recycling.

Covid has been hard on everyone, the sales team felt it the most with clients lack on interest to shop. After sales plans were hardly being met due to pandemic the people above decided to cut commission and as a sales person thats your bread and butter. It was devastating, goals were still unrealistic. No one reached out from above to see how us people at the store's were doing they mostly just popped in with friends and family to shop or use their allowance funds. Sales people were over looked and treated like numbers. Not sure why a company would cut commissions during the pandemic when the retail teams already had their heads under water.
