-A large array of topics to learn on the fly in a lean environment, yields better developed problem solving skills -DFSS is perpetuated here, helping give a structured approach towards solving complex problems -It's a very cool job

Cons

-pay stagnation -no new full-time direct hires, only contract -moving to new a department is impossible -minimization by management can create a feeling of disconnection -unreasonable expectations with little support can make one feel like a failure
