Pros

Cindy Miller and team are a positive; need to be out with the old, including most of those who came in during the last few years. There are pockets of employees that want to do the right thing for the company, but, over time, even they are beaten down. Some really good people on the Monarch side of the business (those working on the SAP implementation.) Not convinced that the positive reviews on Glassdoor in late 2018 or early 2019 are legit.

Cons

Lies during the recruiting process: Grade level came in lower than what I was pursued at; their initial offer was $10K lower than I stated my base was; I would get to hire a team. (Should have heeded warning signs!) Poor leadership behavior is accepted (think physical assault of direct reports; known bullying, harassment by Directors.) HR is aware of these practices. Most employees are underemployed; you will not likely learn new skill sets as an external hire. You will most likely be doing the work you did a decade ago in your career. No accountability; if you don’t want to answer an email or complete an assigned task – you’re good. Makes even the simplest of tasks difficult to move forward. Bonus thresholds were not met in the last three years; no bonus pay out for 2016 or 2017; for 2018 the threshold was also not met, but partial payout was given to retain employees. The number of lies being told by leadership (Directors & above) is unlike I’ve ever encountered. You will spend considerable time sorting out lies. Not a place for women; most everyone who quit around me was a female … having another job lined up was secondary; getting out of Stericycle was primary. Primarily a "no fun" zone; laughter is scarce, even though there are people who appreciate laughter. Yes, I did quit on my own. On the path to returning to "normal".

Pros

I loved my co-workers! They made a job fun and everyone was super helpful

Cons

The company grew too big, too fast and they cannot accommodate all employees. They are constantly moving people around departments which pushes them back from growing within the company. Also, constantly changing the compensation plan so they don't have to pay the top performers as much. The turn over rate should not be 60%...They were all about changing and asking the employees what they needed to do to make the company moral better and didn't do any of it.
