Pros
Free snacks, younger people are pretty cool and inviting, flex work time
Cons
Bare minimum when it comes to salary, benefits, and rewarding work. If you get assigned a project you don't enjoy (or doesn't even match your expertise), you're likely to be stuck with it until the end. I was expecting software development projects to be more organized, but it more or less feels like a free-for-all when it comes down to implementation and is very disorganized. There weren't any senior engineers from reputable companies that can help in the software development process for projects that weren't written in C/C++. I also wouldn't be surprised if the statistics showed that I spent <10% of my time at the company writing code even though I was hired as a Software Developer.
