Pros

- great employee discounts - internal promotions - benefits for full-time workers

Cons

- incompetent head office workers - assigns tasks with minimal time to complete and must be approved by district manager - District manager is often rude and personally attacks workers calling them lazy, not good workers, and will talk badly about you to other workers - Intense competition from all stores to the point that some workers will cheat for good outcome - Low pay - Company refuses to pay for overtime although you have gone over hours - If you quit the district manager will look down on you and call you lazy for wanting to leave retail. Really believes retail is the money maker than other industries - Very sales driven so if your sales are low you will get pressured by the district manager - Staff shortage is common and management has to compensate
