      Pros

      I've been working at Stifel for about a year now. I can honestly say I really enjoy it here. Usually with a new job, the honeymoon phase wears off but it still hasn't happened to me yet. Stifel offers annual bonuses and great work/life balance. We have free soda machines on several floors and free coffee. They will pay for any security licenses to be obtained. This, to me, shows they care about your personal career development. Everyone is very nice and pleasant to work with. They also have different catered events in the building which helps boost morale and brings employees closer.

      Cons

      Only con I can think of is the fees employees pay when trading. I've also heard salaries could be a little more competitive (although I have no complaints about mine).

      Pros

      Just an overall good, close-knit company to work for. HQ service reps are always helpful and kind when we experience issues at our branch.

      Cons

      They are behind the times when it comes to technology. We're still 2 generations behind on our web browser and they block us from updating anything. They send us emails alerting everyone that "We are experiencing issues..." Well it's no wonder. It makes it very difficult to get things done.

      Cons

      No development, processes were outdated. New processes or work was never approved. Very traditional HR environment. Things were difficult to be improved. The manager was quite challenging and unprofessional. The same manager spoke negatively about other team members or colleagues within the firm. It was quite clear you were being watched on a daily basis like being in kindergarten. An environment that should be focused on team work, improving systems and processes was a little corrupt
