Pros

The job was pretty easy, the greatest aspect was the opportunity to meet new people everyday. Being a grocery clerk had its advantages as well, walking around the store performing different tasks is very time consuming, which is great seeing that you don't have time to pay attention to the clock.

Cons

Cashiers are pretty much micro-managed (within reason, I understand). For whatever reason becoming a full-time worker took months which is very discouraging.

Pros

The other employees are nice and you will occasionally get rewarded for doing a good job ($2.50) banana gift card Yay...

Cons

The biggest con is the union and the managers. The managers are nice people but they lack all managerial skills
