Pros

Pay is average to above average for this field. Good job security and benefits are great. Store management includes incentive and bonus.

Cons

A lot of the cons come with retail more than stop and shop: nights, weekends, holidays. It'd be nice to have somewhat of a set schedule, even if it does include nights/weekends. Dealing with union employees can be a challenge. You are married to the store.
