      Pros

      You typically work independently and manage your own work flow. Benefits are really good.

      Cons

      You have to be willing to deal with unfavorable weather conditions while preforming daily lock checks and cleaning drive-up units.

      We are happy you like the independence of the job as well as the benefits! We prioritize safety, but our staff does need to brave all sorts of weather to make sure guests' units are secure and move-in ready ⛈️☀️

      Discriminatory Regional Manager

      Pros

      Store Colleagues. Closed on football Sundays. Daytime Hours with a consistent schedule.

      Cons

      Very, very slim chance for an internal promotion from store level to Home Office. Absolutely NO accountability for the Regional Managers and their behaviors. Only family friendly when it benefits them. If you are sick, the Regional Manager will make you feel guilty for not going into work and infecting other employees. Then will retaliate against you. If you don't get along with your Regional Manager he will make sure you get fired. I had a situation where he told me that he had "planted evidence" at another location in our Region. If you are not a Regional Manager or above, your work is not recognized. You feel like a slave to the Regional, knowing at any time he can conspire against you until you quit because he makes you miserable. Directors have no idea what the Regional Managers are really doing or how they are mistreating their teams. If you are lower on the totem pole than a Regional Manager, your voice and concerns will not be heard or even considered when you do reach out. 99% of salaried positions are hired externally. There is no program or focus on developing internally. You are expected to answer calls from the call center 24 hours a day if their is an issue at a site you work at. You will never be compensated for this time, but will be held accountable if you don't answer the call. Regional Managers play favorites.

      The training videos are about the only thing that seams to be organized and helpful with this regions stores

      Cons

      Communication is a huge issue all around from the second interview on there is very low and what you may get or be able to receive is not organized or convenient to say the least.
