Pros

Good coworkers, Loyal and (mostly) friendly customer base

Cons

Low pay, too high of expectations, very low amount of hours available, moving up requires way too much butt-kissing Got fired the day after I asked for more hours (was only getting 10 a week) because two of the higher up managers (with whom I worked with twice each) "didn't like the way I worked." I can only assume they just didn't want to admit that they hired me before they were financially ready to. Especially because the assistant manager that was told to fire me seemed to feel really bad about it and I don't think he felt it was right (He quit the company the week after).

Pros

The only good thing I have to say about this place is that I like my coworkers.Twenty word minimum, huh?

Cons

They say they are hiring, but good luck. They don't really intend on hiring anyone. They employ a bare-bones crew and think they can run a business like this. I'm a stocker and always get called up to help run a cash register, and it takes away from me getting any work done. Want your shelves stocked? Can't do it. They need me to ring people up. And I can't speak for the other stores, but my store only has three regular grocery stockers on a weekly schedule. There's only one stocker per shift, and there's only one shift per day, so I end up doing the work of three or four people. Oh, and did I mention hours are getting severely cut now that Ken Diehl is no longer in charge and our old owner Jeff Strack is back?

Pros

None at all, unless you're a pretty, ditsy teenager! Then you can goof off on the clock and get paid for it! But if you're a serious adult, looking for a career with growth opportunities, forget it!

Cons

With the exception of the employees that have been there for at least 5 years, all other employees are rude, have a terrible work ethic and don't care about the job. The worst part is, that management is oblivlous. The wrong people get promoted and the people actually doing their jobs correctly end up quitting.
