Unprofessional, Greedy, Inconsiderate
Pros
They pay little to nothing so I struggled even with doing overtime just to pay bills. Nobody from Strand ever speaks to the employees or cares to know your name. They can’t keep a manager so all of the employees think that their in charge of everything and there is entirely too much drama. The hotel that I worked for was nice and the guests are sweet for the most part, the job was extremely easy to a certain extent but at the end of the day, nobody can not be homeless or struggling and work here and all during the pandemic an I promise the benefits suck
Cons
Just read the pros. The pay sucks, there isn’t management for several reasons, benefits suck, and strand simply just doesn’t cafe for their employees in general. I suggest working for an actual Marriott brand and not a franchise.
